FSU’s Michael Snaer hit another buzzer beater as the Seminoles secured the #3 spot in the ACC with a win over Virginia Final weekend of the regular season for the [...] It was a pretty blah sports weekend from my seat, but there are still some things to discuss. Hit the jump for a few talking points. [...] Hatefest tonight in Chapel Hill. According to the ACC over the last 75 meetings, Duke leads in points scored 5,858-5,857. UNC is on a school record 31 game home winning streak. Under Roy Williams, UNC is 4-4 against Duke at the Smith Center, and 4-4 and Cameron. Mike Krzyzewski is 36-36 vs. UNC and 11-14 [...] NC State (15-5) at North Carolina (16-3) 7PM Dean Smith Center. UNC is looking for its 11th win in a row against State. It will be their first game without Dexter Strickland, and they have had a week off. NC State will be trying to get their first win in Chapel Hill since 2003. [...] In case anyone wants to go to the NC State/UNC-CH game on Thursday night, there are still 442 tickets available on StubHub as of me typing this. Anyone know where Roy Williams’ reserved, extra special, Tar Heel Fan only seats are? There would be nothing better than to see some Wolfpack fans sitting in that [...] What happened to the lost colony of UNC walk-ons? One theory suggests that the walk-ons joined the seminal Seminole tribe and settled in Tallahassee. Others believe that they died from embarrassment during one of the worst defeats in UNC history. UNC dispatched Clemson 75-65 in the Smith Center. The win was a nice rebound from the Tar Heels fugly showing down in Atlanta, at it kept the Tigers winless in Chapel Hill. 0-55.
