Okay, I know it’s not Wednesday and I doubt this will be back to being a regular post (I really haven’t gotten to many new bars lately) but here it is anyway. This weekend is one of the best weekends of the year. There will be good, real football on tonight, all day and night tomorrow, all day and night Sunday, and from Monday night into the wee hours Tuesday morning. It just doesn’t get much better than that. Praise Touchdown Jesus! Continue reading **UPDATED** Home Away From Home Special NFL Kick Off Weekend Edition **UPDATED**
Just in time for the start of the NFL season HAFH is back. Honestly, I have toned it down some in the last few months and haven’t been out much to take in any sports lately, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t know about watering holes where you can get your view on. I hate to say it, but I don’t have anywhere to review for you guys today. Sorry. It’s not that I haven’t been going to sports bars lately, I just haven’t gone to any NEW ones. So instead of giving you my take on some random bar I’ve only been to once I’m going to ask you to submit your favorite places to me. Please include the name and location in your post and I will do my level best to check them all out and review as many as I can. Feel free to add any extra info that you feel is pertinent, like hotness of waitresses, beer selection, food quality, dog friendly, or anything else. This is one time where I’m actually looking forward to hearing from (some of) you, so get to it, suckas, tell us how you folks get down.
Told y’all suckas I’d be back with a freakin’ vengeance. smallandpettypat ALWAYS delivers, mellonfarmah’s. Hit the jump and I’ll tell you about the best kept secret in the Triangle. Continue reading Thursday Home Away From Wednesday…Wait, What?

I’ll save Harrison’s for another day as it holds a very special place in my heart. This week is about one of the newer restaurants in the Harrison’s family.
