Clemson defeated NC State 26-1 4 last night in Carter-Finley. The big news from the game was the clearly obvious blown call by the referees on an apparent 83 yard touchdown by Bryan Underwood in the third quarter.
Underwood was called out of bounds by the line judge. Even the ESPN commentators and the replays showed the call was wrong, he came close but never stepped out. The touchdown would have given NC State the lead 14-13, instead 3 plays later Pete Thomas fumbles, Clemson recovers and then scores to go up 20-7. Ballgame.
NCSTATESHEEEEEEEEEEEET! Cue the sad, shirtless “O” guy.
The Wolfpack did have a 23-play touchdown drive in the fourth quarter in which they converted 3 fourth downs, only problem was it ate up about 8 minutes of the clock.
Tigers go to 3-0, no Clemsoning last night.
