I know that this flew under my radar last week, did anybody else notice it?
Apparently GaTech co-offensive line coach Todd Spencer was forced to resign after it was discovered that he committed recruiting violations recently. To wit: illegal texts to recruits. The school is still waiting to hear from the NCAA as to whether this is a major or secondary violation and how it will affect the already-on-probation program. Apparently the associate AD, Wayne Hogan, thinks it’s no big deal. In fact, Hogan believes the new violations will have no affect whatsoever on the university’s attempt to have last year’s cheating penalty reduced. We’ll see, but if I was Wayne I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one.

no one ever seems to hear that GT cheated, or that the NCAA investigated GT….or that the NCAA levied penalties on GT….
it seems to slip past on the agate page of the sports section, like under the ‘Transactions’…
Their entire offense is premised on false starting and chop blocking. I’m shocked, shocked! to hear that they’re up to no good off the field as well.
UNC should send all of it’s PR department employees to Atlanta to take a lesson on how to keep your mouth shut.
wouldn’t matter, the players would put it all out on Twitter
Still would avoid circus like pressors that made Thorpe and company look incredibly incompetent.
