Getting beat by the other team’s quarterback gets you a thorough review at season’s end. Getting beat by a 1-AA quarterback you ran off your own campus gets you canned. Methinks BD’s defenders are going to re-acquaint themselves with their moral compass and remember how much they hate cheating in the next week. [...]

Date Debate: ...and they can cook too!

Two lovely ladies who definitely know their way around the kitchen. Food Network stars Rachael Ray and Nigella Lawson.  I’m sure everyone has heard of Rachael (especially Todd), she has shows on the Food Network, her own talk show, magazines, etc… If I recall, she won a date debate on the old version of THEE [...]

College Basketball Top 25

I cant stand preseason polls. I think they are meaningless and stupid. The only thing worse are preseason player awards.  Im the “Preseason Player of the Year”, whoop-de-do.  With that being said, here is the AP preseason basketball poll for 2010-11…

Old School Thursday

Sooo, Halloween is this weekend.  I love Halloween; it’s when seemingly normal, stuffy women everywhere cast off the shackles of everyday insecurity and dress up in outfits such as ‘Sexy Cowgirl’, ‘Sexy Cop’, ‘Sexy Mail Woman’, and ‘Sexy Frankenstein’.  And, it’s a great excuse to drink to excess and eat candy.  Mmmmmm, candy…  So, this week’s OST is Halloween themed.  Hit the jump for a frightfully good time (yeah, I just wrote that). The First Annual THEE Blog Blogger Awards

I’m thinking we need some annual awards here at THEE Blog.  You know, something to rival Tacos’ favorite awards show the Tony’s.  So I’m opening this thread to take suggestions for CATEGORIES, and categories only.  Once we agree on categories I’ll roll out another post (or something) in order for everyone to vote in [...]

Sometimes I feel like I’m beating a dead horse, sometimes I feel like I’m beating a dead horse, sometimes I feel like I’m beating a dead horse…

Hi, I’m J Mohn author and contributor to Thee Sports Blog! Thanks to lack of content we are now overstocked with dead [...]

Wednesday Home Away From Home

Just in time for the start of the NFL season HAFH is back. Honestly, I have toned it down some in the last few months and haven’t been out much to take in any sports lately, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t know about watering holes where you can get your view on. This week will cater to you Cary folk. Continue reading Wednesday Home Away From Home

So who is in the NBA?

The NBA season kicks off tonight. Lakers going for another three-peat. This would be Phil Jackson’s fourth three-peat, counting his two with Da’ Bulls!  We know the NBA has changed over the years with more high school ballers skipping college, and more European players in the mix. What about the triangle schools?  Here are the [...]

Heels Didn't Take Enough Talent to South Beach

Ugh. Well, it wasn’t the worst thing that happened to UNC football in South Florida this year, but it felt like it at times last night. Butch Davis’ skeleton crew finally ran aground (they lacked depth, you see) when Miami picked apart the Heels’ depleted secondary. No way around it, a Jacory Harris-led offense [...]
